Sampling procedures for inspection by attributes
Bartušek, Petr ; Fusek, Michal (referee) ; Michálek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with a description of sampling procedures for inspection by attributes. In the thesis there are described three discrete probability distributions – hypergeometric distribution, binomial distribution and Poisson distribution, including the convergence of their probability mass functions and cumulative distribution functions. The main aim of the thesis is a determination of a sampling plan for sampling procedures for inspection by attributes. The thesis is supplemented with three created programs, which are programmed in software Matlab.
Probit Analysis and its Theoretical Properties
Bojanovská, Hana ; Žák, Libor (referee) ; Bednář, Josef (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with a theoretical description and practical use of probit analysis, which is a part of survival analysis. The thesis shows different probit models, their differences and appropriateness on analised data. The used data belong to the molecular diagnostic area and are provided by Genex CZ company. The result is an analysis of probit analysis output data from Minitab 14 software. The thesis was supported by project from MSMT of the Czech Republic no. 1M06047 Center for Quality and Reliability of Production.
A Software Tool for Analyzing Stochastic Data
Lipták, Juraj ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis discusses the possibility of modeling stochastic processes. Elements of the system with the source of randomness in some cases may be represented by probability distribution. The reader will be acquainted with methods of statistical induction for selecting suitable distribution and generating random numbers. Tool developed in this project aims to propose appropriate probability distribution based on empirical data and provide random variable generating with proposed distribution.
Random fields of facets
Novotná, Daniela ; Beneš, Viktor (advisor) ; Pawlas, Zbyněk (referee)
Facet process is a special example of a point process in Euclidean space Rd , where points are in this case represented by compact subsets of hyperplanes in Rd with given orientation, size and shape. We focus on finite facet processes with density from exponential family with respect to the distribution of Poisson point process. Its submodel is simulated using the Metropolis-Hastings birth death algorithm, which gives us a homogeneous Markov chain. Specially in R2 space we derive its stationary distribution. In spaces R2 and R4 we perform numerical simulations to show behavior of the chain for various parameters in such model. 1

Planning and project management - the possibility of applying simulation techniques
ŠEFRÁNEK, Jaroslav
From the knowledge gained by studying scientific publications and other resources on possibilities of applying stochastic approach in planning, directing and controlling the projects will be evaluated time analysis of the construction project. The project will be analyzed using simulation techniques. The subject of research, the project Modernization of the Czech Budejovice - Nemanice, which will be designed for appropriate recommendations.
Use of simulation methods in pig breeding
MARINOV, Lukáš
The target of this diploma work was to find and apply the most effective simulation model of pig breeding at particular company. Partial goal of this work was to identify the breeding technologies and simulation methods. The data was elaborated in program Microsoft Office Excel 2010 and the simulation model was compiled in @RISK 5.5 software. After the application of simulation model I found out, that in the chosen company was landrase pig race getting higher profitability than bílé ušlechtilé pig race. Another result points to that the shorter time of weaning of piglets has positive influence at company profitability. On the base of this results was recommended to the company to rise up the part of landrase pig race and to short the time of weaning of piglets. There was also generated the curved line of sow´s profitability in it´s individual litters, which helps to culling of sows and to integration of sows into the herd.
